The Spirit's Sorrow

As part of my bachelor's graduation project, i had the chance to work on our little shot film "The Spirit's Sorrow". I was in charge of the production of all the rigs present in the film as well as providing assistance to the animation team.

Compilation of some of the rigs i produced for the short film

The rig of the main character Navil. A detailed rig that incorporates both Joint and Blendshape system, which gives a lot of flexibility for the animators

The Beast Rig, the only quadruped creature in the film. Just like the main character has a detailed joint/Blendshape system. Detailed facial rig for the close up shots

Stingray rig, a background character which is only seen from afar, still i had fun by adding ribbons to give extra fluid movements to this creature

Monkey Rig, very similar to the main characters rig. Also has Blendshapes mixed with joints.

Little Spirit Rig. Background character which only animation in the film is a walk cycle. Therefore the rig is a very basic biped rig.
